This position is a Business Analyst in the IT organization who will be responsible to support the consolidations and planning applications and teams.


Lexmark utilizes an SAP solution to consolidate financial statements. This position supports the system needs of the business users including configuration, enhancements and upgrades. The BA works with many other IT areas within Lexmark to gain efficiencies and synergies, including but not limited to the global technical development teams, integrations support teams and reporting and analytics teams. Lexmark is in the planning phase of an S/4 HANA conversion. This role will be the lead in identifying features of S/4 that can support the consolidations process, as well as outline and implement any applications included in the future consolidations' roadmap.


Lexmark uses a SaaS solution for the financial planning process. This position is a liaison between the business application owner and business system administrators and the technical integrations support team. Working to ensure business needs are understood and that those needs are met with effective system solutions is a pivotal role within the IT organization.


This BA will work with as well as support a global team in all efforts.


The role will be business facing to achieve the following:

  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders focused on their strategic priorities
  • Manage the solution delivery via an agile development process within IT (development, application services, quality assurance, PMO, infrastructure, offshore test/development teams).


Responsibilities
:

  • Manage the customer relationships and expectations with proper communication to keep other up to date
  • Define and document system requirements utilizing process flows, uses cases and other methods
  • Document the functional design of the business requirements
  • Follows process and project methodology, ensuring proper implementation and adoption
  • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints with peers and others
  • Drive the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
  • Advocates continuous improvement including identification of opportunities, adoption of best practices and standards
  • Create proposed solutions and ensure they meet internal standards
  • Assist with partner with the business leaders for change management, training, and communication to the user community in order to effectively use tools and systems
  • Assist with partnering with business leaders to build IT roadmaps that align to business strategies and goals
  • Summarize and communicate findings at an executive level

Qualifications:

  • University degree in management information systems, accountancy or business management.
  • Proven interest in problem solving, as well as in business and technology related issues.
  • A strong passion for learning with outstanding analytical aptitude.
  • Adaptability, as well as skills in dealing with uncertainties.
  • Ability to adjust in a team work environment.
  • Outstanding leadership capacity with professional veracity and consistency.
  • Broad knowledge of computer systems and web based services
  • Ability to organize information, manage tasks and projects to support business needs
  • Ability to flexibly accept dynamically changing priorities

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and activities in a timely, organized manner
  • Requires technical and management skills appropriate to the position. SAP BPC, Workday Adaptive Planning or SAP S/4 Hana experience a plus.
  • Requires strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, and work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and action plans
  • Must be a strong team player
  • It is preferred this position sit in Lexington, KY, but will consider remote for a strong candidate.
