Adventure Tours is a charter bus company located at 17517 Indian Head Hwy, Accokeek, MD 20607. The Bus Cleaner position will report to our Operations Manager. Adventure Tours is fast growing small business that is looking for a responsible, reliable individual to help Adventure Tours continued growth and development. We are a small company with a family atmosphere. The primary role for this position is day to day cleaning of our coaches. We operate a modern fleet and are looking for an individual to maintain our fleet accordingly.

Each position within Adventure Tours comes with set goals and expectations. Below are the requirements and responsibilities for your positions. We have put in a 90 day probation period (time will vary per employee and position) for all new hires. This is to ensure this is a right fit for you and to ensure you are a right fit for your company. Upon completion of the probation period there will be a review with management to ensure we are on the same page for the benefit of Adventure Tours. Bus Cleaner- Rotating Shift.

Under general supervision, this position performs work required to clean Adventure Tours buses.

HOURS:

Shifts:
1st Shift 9:00pm -3:00am (4 Positions available)

2nd Shift 3:00am -9:00am (4 Positions available)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule which may includes early morning and late nights depending on coach schedules.

• Clean bus interior and lavatory. May include scrubbing, washing with water and cleaning agents, sweeping and waxing, and dumping waste tanks.

• We have an onsite battery powered Bitimic bus washing machine as well as in ground bus dump.

• Clean bus exterior with bus washer or other equipment provided. May include scrubbing, washing with water and cleaning agents, sweeping and waxing, and dumping waste tanks.

• Sweep and mop baggage compartments. Requirements: Using arms in a back-and-forth motion and up and down while bending and leaning over, lifting up to 10 lbs. walking and standing.

• Restock supplies on bus, including garbage bags, toilet tissues, wet naps, hand sanitizers, etc.. .

• Fuel coach with diesel and DEF

• Performs any other management requests or directives as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Identification

• Understand Instructions.

• Reporting to work mentally and physically fit to perform safely, responsibly, productively and reliably.

• Able to lift 15 lbs. or more.

• Perform physical labor to include lifting, pulling, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, stretching and working for long period standing or walking, climbing up and down 4 step.

• Properly select, mix and apply cleaning agents appropriate to the task. Work with and without direct supervision.

• Maintain cooperative working relationships through the use of courtesy and respect with others.
