This is a mid-shift position with the hours of 12pm-8:30pm. Required Skills:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret a loading manifest
• 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse loader/order picking, no less than one year
• Knowledge of valve control systems and pumps for pumping fluid
• Knowledge of hazmat material and regulations

Position Summary:

• Unloads bulk liquid from delivery vehicles to designated storage tanks using a pump, valve and hose system
• Loads bulk liquids in same manner into tanker trucks from drums, kegs, and pails
• Follows all proper procedures for loading and unloading material
• Positions oil trucks and rail cars
• Prints BOL (bills of lading)
• Ensures proper quantities are transferred and tanks are properly filled
• Makes barcoded labels by entering in relevant details in the computer system
• Assist with physical inventory counts and processes
• Performs calculations to determine appropriate mixtures, weights, and volumes to meet order specifications
• Ensures incoming and outgoing orders are properly documented
• Ensures all additives are properly labeled and stored in a safe manner and that all empty drums and pails are disposed of in the proper manner
• Promptly reports leaks and spills and cleans up as required
• May assist with other material handling duties such as restocking non-bulk material, transporting empty containers to the proper disposal area, and transporting and disposing of waste material in the proper area
• Ensures all incoming and outgoing bulk liquids meet quality requirements
• Performs product quality testing in accordance with guidelines and standard test methods
• Pulls and analyzes samples

Requirements:

• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate knowledge of multi-compartment tanker trucks
• Must be able to demonstrate accurate record keeping for bulk material loaded or off loaded
• Operate in a manner where SAFETY and PRODUCT INTEGRITY are of the highest importance
• No fear of heights
• Forklift experience
• Ability to climb ladders
• Basic mathematical skills
• Knowledge of use of rulers and tape measures
• Self-motivated, goal oriented and punctual
• Possess ability to perform warehouse functions
• Ability to regularly lift and move 10-70 pounds and roll a drum up to 500 pounds with assistance
• Ability to learn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgment

This is an hourly paid position with an opportunity for overtime.
