Staybridge Suites is looking for a Breakfast Attendant to be our Breakfast Ambassador and heighten our guest's experience while on property. We’re looking for a friendly individual who genuinely enjoys creating a friendly, clean environment for our guests to enjoy and who can engage guests and manage multiple tasks at once. The ideal candidate will have previous food service or hotel experience and will understand the importance of responding quickly to guests’ needs and complaints. If you’ve worked in the hospitality industry before, we definitely want to talk to you. However, we’re willing to train the right applicant.

Breakfast Attendant Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and breaking down the breakfast buffet while making guest feel welcome, comfortable and well attended to at all times. *Able to start day Early at 5:00AM for Breakfast and must be available weekends, and holidays*

• Responsible for daily preparation of all breakfast food items/able to operate cooking equipment.
• Set up and breakdown breakfast buffet.
• Restock, maintain and clean the food serving and preparation areas.
• Clear tables and clean surrounding breakfast area.
• Fully understand and comply with all food safety requirements while you monitor the quality and consistency of all food served and maintain food at proper temperature.
• Ensure prompt, courteous service to guests and provide a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.
• Properly dispose of used plates, utensils, napkins and cups as necessary.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Personal maturity, sound judgment, motivation, and integrity.
• Strong communication skills. Bilingual a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Provide Food Handlers certificate within 30 Days of employment.
• Follow menu requirements as provided by the brand.
• Observes the 5x10 rule, which is to be complied with at all times. Anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
• Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
• Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
