Planning, organizing and developing Behavior Analyst services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Provides therapy according to the treatment plan and documents the progress and effects of patient treatment.
Essential Accountabilities
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and individualized materials.
- Document and analyze the client’s progress and effects of treatment. Complete session notes daily.
- Train RBTs, Behavior Technicians and parents regarding client’s individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans.
- Provide ongoing supervision, coaching and mentoring to BCaBAs, RBTs and behavior therapists.
- Maintain an effective supervisory role with behavior technicians and behavior therapist in adherence to the BACB ethical code.
- Create and submit all reporting including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e physician, school district, other therapies).
- Assist with providing a safe and positive environment for all clients and staff.
- Complete and maintain company documentation.
- Prioritize clients and therapist/technicians needs responding during appropriate times.
- Ensure organizational flow is maintained with changes to policies, procedures, instructions, and best practices.
- Maintain organization and structure with changes in treatment plans, client materials, and communicate expectations between therapist and families.
- Provide support and feedback to technicians and therapists for continuous improvement of their competencies and technical skills, growth opportunities, and performance.
- Maintain effective communications with all internal and external stakeholders including clients, families, co-workers and leadership.
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with clients, families and colleagues.
- Identify, remove obstacles and adjust workload to accommodate changing clinical/business needs.
- Contribute to building a positive, supportive and learning culture.
- Maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavior analysis or related field.
- An active BCBA certification and be in good standing with the board.
- Current COBA certification in the State of Ohio.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding the English language.
- Completed FBI and BCI background check.
- Clinical experience in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis, autism, child development, and training.
- Positive and goal oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations.
- Compatible with company culture and core values.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
