Job Description

This is a full time position working days at out new Northwest Medical Center. This position is working with the BioMed team with the main responsibility being bed repair.

This is a full time position at Northwest Medical Center at 6200 N. LaCholla Blvd. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.


Summary:

This position is working with the Bio-medical team with the main responsibility being bed repair. Even though the main task is bed repair, this technician will also work on stretcher, wheelchairs, and other typical Bio-medical devices. Must have at least one year of bed repair experience and be familiar with Bio-medical testing equipment. Designs, develops and provides safety testing, repair, and maintenance of biomedical equipment. Ensures that the biomedical equipment is in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and quality control standards. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of direct experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
