Job Details
As a member of the Behavioral Health Intervention (BHIS) Team, you will be working directly with children and their families to provide skill building services addressing their mental health needs. You will work with your clients to promote positive behaviors and actions while providing indirect coordination and collaboration with other professional to coordinate services for the benefits of the child and family. Skill services center around seven focus areas to include: cognitive flexibility skills, communication skills, conflict resolution skills, executive skills, interpersonal relationship skills, problem solving skills and social skills. This position offers some flexibility in scheduling to meet with clients and their families at predetermined times.
Acceptable Experience/Training/ Education:
- Bachelors degree in social work or related human services field.
- Minimum of one-year relevant post-degree experience in the human services field.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Required Special Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Drivers License and meet the driving requirements of the Agency.
