A Beautician’s goal is to improve the client’s personal appearance and well-being through various beauty treatment services. Beautician will join us under an agreement to provide services for our seniors on our beautiful Liberty Village of Rochelle campus for or assisted living clients.

Beautician Duties and Responsibilities

Provide various types of beauty services including; hair shampooing, cutting, coloring, permanents, and more!

Not required but prefer to include additional services such as manicures and makeup applications to advanced creative hairstyling.

Beauticians must be able to listen to the needs of their customers and provide them with the proper style and service that they request.

Must also record the treatments and services that they provide for each of their customers. Keep detailed and organized records

Maintain Equipment and Work Area

Must maintain the cleanliness and sterility of their various supplies and equipment.

Must also keep an eye on their work area, ensuring that it is clean and presentable.

Must be aware of equipment, making sure that everything is in proper working order,

Have an adequate amount of items like lotions or gels to provide care to all of their customers.

Beautician Core skills:

• Maintain current license as a Barber or Beautician.
• Mastering hair styling techniques
• Providing a high level of customer service
• Be insured or bonded

Beautician Advanced skills:

• Experience working with a wide range of people, including the elderly.
• Working knowledge of sanitization standards for the beauty industry.
• Knowledge in various aspects of beauty culture, including application and equipment.
