Job Description Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an outdoor precast concrete manufacturing environment. This individual will work to operate the batch plant safely and accurately to maintain efficient and quality production.

Responsibilities

• 
  Operates Mixer Machine and Batch Plant (Command Alkon)
• Dump mix from mixing barrel into concrete transport vehicles
• Operate a forklift / loader
• Properly weigh materials for mix, operate mixer and deliver mix in a timely manner
• Communicate production issues with other employees and supervisors
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Maintain housekeeping and quality standards
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
• Understand and apply safe use and operation of the equipment and communicates with other employees about safety-related matters

Required Skills

• 
  Knowledge of concrete fundamentals
• ACI Field Testing Certified preferred, or ability or obtain certification within 6 months
• At least 2 years’ experience running a batch plant preferred

Physical Environment

• 
  Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Outdoor manufacturing environment
