Hollywood's Chic, French Restaurant, Mes Amis, is looking for Bartenders!

This Spring, celebrated chef Lincoln Carson brings his culinary talents to Hollywood, LA's newest and most exciting culinary destination, with the opening of Mes Amis where he draws inspiration from the bustling cafés and brasseries from Paris to Lyon while reflecting a decidedly Southern California sensibility. The menu reinterprets classic French dishes with an approachable bent, utilizing the freshest produce and ingredients from local farms and markets. Chef Carson envisions Mes Amis, French for "My Friends," as a convivial and everyday gathering place for friends and locals to rediscover the human connection over great food, wine, and cocktails that similarly reveals the inspiration for the restaurant.

Bartenders are professional, have a high energy and exhibit excellent communication skills to serve cocktails, as well as exciting new beverages to our guests. The bartender will greet guests, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items and prepare and serve beverages and food. They will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. Bartenders are always on stage and need to have a neat appearance, engaging, friendly personality, and should be observant, efficient, knowledgeable and personable.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Prepare all alcoholic and N/A beverage
• Restock and maintain par levels of all beverages needed for service
• Complete knowledge of food and beverage menu
• Uses appropriate garnish and glassware
• Oversees cleanliness and maintenance of all things bar
• Coordinates transfers for any drinking guests that move to the dining room
• Assists in all beverage inventories
• Assists in orders and requisitions of all bar to maintain the proper stock of goods
• Communicates daily with MOD for 86d items
• Full Vaccination against COVID-19

Skills / Experience:

• 2 years previous high-end restaurant or hotel experience
• Must be TIPS certified
• California Food Handlers Certified
• Cicerone certification a plus
• Expertise in Alcohol and cocktail making in high volume environments
• Amari and Grappa knowledge a plus
• Experience with food and wine pairing
• Excellent listener & communicator
• Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask
