Our company minimum for Full-Time employees is $15/hour. Actual payrate is dependent on experience.

Job Summary:

Baristas strive to uphold our mission to provide our guests with the finest dining and travel experience that exceeds expectations and delivers sound results for our organization while providing exceptional Common Man “Wow” Hospitality to build guests for life

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.
• Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
• Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions.
• Receive and process customer payments.
• Serve prepared foods, such as muffins, sweets, or bagels.
• Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items.
• Take customer orders and convey them to other employees for preparation.
• Wrap, label, or date food items for sale.
• Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.

• Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines

• Requires frequent lifting/transporting hot food items, ability to work inside kitchen area, interact with heated equipment, steam, and other at-risk conditions.

• Must be able to stand, kneel, squat, bend and reach to stock shelves.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds

Qualifications:

• The ability to read and follow recipes
• Previous cashier and/or Barista experience preferred
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
