It has been the county seat of Lenoir County since its formation in 1791. Kinston is located in the coastal plains region of eastern North Carolina. In 2009, Kinston won the All-America City Award.
The plant was built in 1993 with an addition in 1995, manufactures paper cups and cartons, and has approximately 350 employees.

Responsibilities:
This Position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.
Job Duties:
- Perform daily inspection of forklift truck.
- Use forklift truck to pick up all printed paperboard waste bins generated by printing process.
- Collect and Maintain segregation of paperboard waste (which is brought to baler by finishing Material Handler) generated by finishing processes.
- Operate and perform minor maintenance on Hogger, Automatic Waste Baler, and Banding Machine.
- Feed or rake waster from waste bins into Hogger.
- Manually tie off all bales with wires.
- Weigh each bale and write weight on bale tags.
- Use forklift to place finished bales into proper storage.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamwork environment.
- Positive work attitude and willingness to cooperate.
- Basic Math and Computer Skills.
- Ability to understand and meet continuously increasing performance objectives,
- Ability to obtain a Forklift License.
- Required to stand to perform all duties of the job.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times during the day.
