Swope Nissan has an immediate need for an Automotive Service Technician. We have a GREAT career program for Technicians coming in with OR without experience. The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. Job knowledge and competency is built through structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers. Consistent, error free work based on defined regulations and standards are key measures of job performance success. The job environment promotes steady, methodical work output so that job routines can be completed on time and error-free. This position is designed to develop a valued technical expert, who, recognized and supported by management and a stable work environment, can deliver quality work on a consistent basis in a TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED work environment.

Job Description:
- Perform Oil Changes & Quick Lubes in an efficient manner.
- Perform Tire Changeovers & Wheel Balancing.
- Light Duty Repair work - Wipers, Air & Cabin Filters, Battery testing.
- Provide Service Advisor with a quality inspection and communicate recommendations when needed.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
- Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and treated with respect.
- Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
- Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
- Maintain any certifications and training as required by the manufacturer.
- Willing to help out in any area of the service department where needed, this could include building and grounds maintenance.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have computer skills.
- Knowledge in some aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Must be a fast learner with above average oral and written communication skills.
- Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work station.
- Must be able to perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
- All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing to include a background check and drug screen.
