AutoCAD Draftsman Job at B&B Construction
- Preparing 2D renderings of building interiors and exteriors, electrical schematics, plumbing diagrams, structural drawings, mechanical drawings, and other architectural drawings
- Using computer-aided design software to create drawings from scratch or from a set of specifications provided by a client or supervisor
- Communicating with upper management to gather information about a project’s scope, schedule, and budget requirements
- Using computer-aided drafting equipment to create 2D drawings in the field including hand held tablets and CADD workstations
- Producing high quality drawings that meet industry standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations
- Communicating with other members of a design team to ensure that designs are feasible and meet industry standards
- Creating detailed drawings of architectural features such as floors, walls, doors, windows, staircases, and railings
- Reviewing blueprints and other drawings for accuracy and formatting compliance
- Using specialized computer software to create 3D models of objects using polylines, points, circles, arcs, and other geometric shapes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
