The Boeing Global Services Maintenance Engineering organization is seeking an Associate Hydro-Mechanical Technical Data Designer. This position is responsible for developing all publication elements for all levels of maintenance for a new or fielded major equipment system or multiple sub systems. Collects, researches and analyzes source data and validates source data based on predefined and developed assumptions. Estimates the impact of the proposal or changes to the publication elements. Supports developmental and sustainment technical publications for Hydro-Mechanical systems. This position will be based in Fort Walton Beach, FL. All candidates must live in the Fort Walton Beach, FL site area or be prepared to move at their own expense
Position Responsibilities:
- Develops all publication elements for all levels of maintenance.
- Collects, researched and analyzes source data
- Estimates the impact of the proposal or changes to the publication elements
- Supports developmental and sustainment technical publications for Hydro-Mechanical systems
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Three years previous Fighter Hydro-Mechanical maintenance experience required
- Previous defense platform experience, supporting the military customer
- Computer literacy/IT Software tool experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience on F-15 Hydro-Mechanical maintenance
- Familiarity/experience reading/interpreting engineering drawings
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
