Turnkey Processing Solutions, LLC is looking for an Associate Human Resources Generalist for our corporate office in Franklin, Tennessee. In this role, your focus will be on building relationships, supporting recruitment efforts, and assisting with various human resources, payroll, and benefits tasks. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and our employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution to requests and questions. You will also assist with various projects that will enable you to gain valuable experience for your career.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to the department in the areas of human resources, payroll, recruiting, and benefits.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service by ensuring timely and accurate communication to frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
  • Develop an understanding of the business through exposure to departmental activities.
  • Assist with payroll functions including answering employee questions, correcting time records, and processing time off requests.
  • Assists with the recruitment and interview process to include posting open positions, conducting phone interviews, forwarding candidate information to hiring managers, and tracking candidate status appropriately.
  • Schedule pre-employment screenings, communicate and follow-up with candidates, coordinate new employee onboarding, and conduct new employee orientation as needed.
  • Accurate data entry of processing related to pre-employment, new hire, terminations, pay rate changes, and various other personnel changes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource, payroll, recruiting, and benefits related documentation while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of all related files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of human resource, payroll, recruiting, and benefits files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Assists with planning and coordination of special events such as benefits enrollment, organizational meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR/Payroll/Recruiting support role or related job experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), applicant tracking system (ATS), and similar computer applications.
  • Ability to take ownership of your assignments and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent customer service orientation, verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with and enthusiastically work with and engage remote new hires, team members, staff and management through proactive, effective and responsive communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Franklin, TN.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
