Pay: $40,000 to $55,000 per year depending on experience

Job Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Management staff with paperwork, coordinating subcontractors, processing invoices, maintaining databases, collecting expense data, and obtaining state and city licensing requirements.

Additional Job Duties Include:

• Preparation, organization, and distribution of subcontract documents, purchase orders, and proposals.
• Monitor and maintain project schedules within budget guidelines and update project plans as needed.
• Provide administrative support to the Project Managers, Senior Office Managers, and Project Operations.
• Works with corporate office staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of project invoicing.
• Coordinate safety training
• Incorporate new directives into existing work flow to achieve objectives

Qualifications:

• 2 plus years of construction project work experience preferred.
• Proficiency with software, including MS Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Experience with Project Management, Estimating, and Scheduling software programs is a plus!
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints is highly preferred.
• Some travel may be required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
