Shalom Preschool is a Reggio-inspired and Jewish-infused preschool servicing the Tri-city area.

Our mission is to provide an open-ended and developmentally-appropriate learning experience to guide each child in discovering their interests and learning style. For us, it’s not just about preparing them for the next stage in their educational journey—it’s about providing a meaningful learning experience during these formative years.

We are looking for educators who are strong leaders with a positive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to stellar early childhood education.

As a small, up-and-coming preschool, we are committed to guiding our staff and supporting them in their own educational journeys as well as creating a warm and nurturing environment for them to work in.

Requirements

• Commitment to progressive education
• Strong written and oral communication skills (or willing to work towards it)
• Flexible and collaborative
• Preferred: 6 or more credits in early childhood or CDA - Child Development Associate credential
• Required: A minimum 1 years of experience in early childhood setting
• Preferred: An associates in the field of ECE
• Knowledge & understanding of Jewish customs and traditions is not required, however an openness to learn is appreciated.
