As an Assistant General Manager, you help develop and maintain a team of people to deliver a clean, dry, shiny vehicle to the customer in a safe, fast, and friendly manner, while continually controlling the costs of the operation and maintaining the appearance of the facility.

Assistant General Manager duties may include:

Participates in the recruitment, selection, and training of all location personnel.

Supervises and motivate the car wash team to achieve their best performance.

Building a strong company work culture through your day-to-day leadership behaviors.

Assists with preventative and overall maintenance at the car wash.

Identifies operational gaps, offers solutions, and help to resolve them.

Serves as acting General Manager when the General Manager is away.

Resolves customer complaints and service issues.

Assists in achieving sales targets and operational budget costs.

Helps create the weekly schedule for all employees based on business needs.

Ensures adherence to all operational and safety protocols.

Assists with ensuring proper stacking of cars, quality control, chemical usage and equipment maintenance and repair.

Directs staff and assists with maintaining a clean, attractive, and safe facility.

Assists all positions as needed.

Assistant General Manager requirements:

Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Strong leadership, organizational, planning and delegation skills.

Creative critical thinking skills.

Responsible and dependable individual.

Excellent customer service skills.

Be able to read and comprehend moderately complex documents such as those related to chemicals, equipment, safety manuals, mechanical ability helpful.

An individual who enjoys working in a fast paced, team environment.

The position requires the ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as walking, standing (100% of shift), bending, stooping, and handling of tools/materials as well as lifting up to 25 lbs.
