Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evaluation, identification, and recruitment of quality student-athletes within the university, NSIC and NCAA policies.
- Assist in the organizations, planning & coaching of all practices & games.
- Assist in the evaluation of individual performance.
- Coordinates & organizes team travel accommodations & itineraries.
- Assists with the scouting of opponents including the organization of film editing and using appropriate software programs.
- Assist with team game tape exchange.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and monitoring all aspects of Division ll intercollegiate football program.
- Other duties as assigned in the Athletic Department as needed.
- Fundraising through camps/clinics and other efforts as needed.
- Comply with all NCAA, NSIC and university rules & regulations.
- Assists in mentoring and reporting academic success of student-athletes to ensure graduation of student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree at time of appointment
- Minimum of (2) years of demonstrated success as a coach/teacher
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or desire to obtain
- NCAA Collegiate coaching experience
- Knowledge of Midwest recruiting base
- Knowledge of NCAA and NSIC rules and regulations.
