PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Signature Psychiatric Hospital is a 104 bed premier provider of behavioral health care services, delivered with compassion for patients and their families, respect for employees, physicians and other health professionals, accountability for clinical and ethical performance, and responsibility to the communities we serve. Our brand of services are delivered throughout Signature Hospitals and outpatient clinics.

Hours: 3p-11p M-F, $5,000 Sign on Bonus

Assistant Director Responsibilities:

• Assist leadership to the Admissions Department and cultivate the function of the department as an integrated team.
• Assist leadership in addressing quality management issues related to crisis triage, evaluation, intake and admission to the facility.
• Distribute scheduled evaluations, intakes or admissions as dictated by request and hospital census.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality improvement programs for all crisis triage, evaluation, intake and admission services.
• Serve as clinical liaison with professional referral sources.
• Work to improve efficiency and quality in delivering services within the department, responsible for implementing and meeting department goals and objectives.
• Assist the department in maintaining compliance with new laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed in the state of Missouri, or Nursing Degree required
• Three years of work experience as a Director of Admissions in a psychiatric and/or substance abuse treatment facility preferred.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• LMSW, LPC, MFT, RN, or similar licensure; required from the state of Missouri for this position
