Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 31 branches throughout the United States.

We are seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for our Albuquerque Branch.

Position Summary: We are a rapidly growing distribution company seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to help lead our team of 30+ associates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, sales growth, and customer satisfaction at our Albuquerque branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the building materials industry, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for driving business results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Branch Manager in many functions to drive profit by increasing revenue and managing expenses.
  • Perform various administrative duties such as: payroll, accounts payable, and assisting in customer service.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed for safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training and day-to-day job direction with branch personnel.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Evaluate, coach and develop all personnel to assist them in realizing their maximum individual potential and meet the Rugby mission of “best place to work”.
  • Represent Rugby to all business partners to the highest professional standard and strive for the Rugby mission of “Best Customer” status to our manufacturer supplier.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 5 years of distribution or manufacturing management experience, including sales management and business development responsibilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, de-centralized, high-accountability, and performance-driven culture.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) including the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
  • Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to successfully lead large-scale departmental or company initiatives.
  • Ability to teach, train and cultivate future leaders for the organization.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
