Perform a variety of duties involved in the administration, evaluation, treatment, care, and rehabilitation of student-athletes within the University of Nebraska Athletic Department. The focus of responsibilities will be with Football, including practice and game coverage, and any required travel. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Working with the team will involve working long hours, nights, weekends, some holidays. Adherence to all NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations will be required.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s plus two years relevant full-time experience required. Excellent interpersonal communication skills essential. Board of Certification ( BOC)/National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) certification and ability to obtain Nebraska State licensure required. Emergency response certification (CPR, basic life support) necessary. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate may have Four years or more experience as full-time certified athletic trainer with NCAA or professional athletics preferred.Previous experience providing treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to football athletes preferred.Previous experience providing treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to student athletes in a Division 1 program preferred.

Posted Salary $55,000 yr/minimum
