Cimarron is seeking experienced Assemblers to support a large aerospace customer in Clearwater, FL. This position is supporting a 1-year contract. This position supports a 4x10 schedule with every Friday off!

Key Duties:

• Use microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.
• Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components and any out solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.
• Read instructions and identify standard SMT components.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
• Ability to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime may be required.
• Possesses basic computer skills and has the ability to use several Windows-based programs as part of your daily routine.
• Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time to perform inspection/solder repair.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• IPC-610 Certification.
• IPC J-STD-001 Certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent and 3 or more years of experience.
