Impact Medical Group is presently searching for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join their team as our network continues to grow! We offer a competitive daily rat, flexible monthly schedule, always done in month advance. The Nurse Practitioner functions as one of the primary medical providers for Impact Medical Group. They are responsible for initiating patient care which includes: patient history and physicals, evaluation and treatment of a patient, and complete medical care for the patient.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Provide care for auto accident and personal injury patients Practice using sound medical judgment and adhere to all ethical considerations of the practice of medicine; know limitations and seek consult when advisable; keep abreast of current technologies and industry standards Perform comprehensive physical/orthopedic examination, and compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs. Provide services by generally accepted standards of medical practice Develop a plan of treatment/care for the patient that also includes education and follow-up visit Perform routine medical duties (complete medical notes, and review laboratory results) in an efficient and well-organized manner. Collaborate with Impact Medical Group Specialists and external healthcare providers as necessary to make appropriate medical decisions Perform routine medical administrative duties in an efficient, well-organized manner Participate in various team and provider meetings Provide consultation and education to patients and/or parents and staff to increase the quality of patient care. Provide consultation and education to patients to increase the quality of patient care Provide guidance and assistance to medical assistants Follow all internal policies and procedures; be accountable for the completion of all operational tasks according to departmental guidelines to ensure appropriate clinical processing/documentation Participate in any deposition/testimony as necessary related to the care provided Must hold an active Florida license before starting No present or pending malpractice suits Have a current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus, but not a requirement
