Architectural CAD Technician

CPH is seeking a full-time Architectural CAD Technician to work on national commercial, retail, office and restaurant programs. This person could participate in all facets of the design process, including preparation of presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
This position provides an opportunity for a skilled, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional to join an established, growing Architectural and Engineering Design Firm. CPH, Inc. is a multi-disciplined firm that provides its clients complete services from project inception through construction. Our in-house professionals include Engineers, Architects, Landscape Architects, Planners, Surveyors, Biologists and Construction Management personnel. Our teams develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges and are dedicated to providing clients with the highest quality service. Duties Include:
Preparation of accurate architectural presentation, design and construction documents in AutoCAD.
Collaboration and coordination of design with project team including architects, designers, consultants and clients.
Interpretation of relevant codes and client requirements.
Implementation & utilization of established CAD standards and templates.
Periodic travel to perform building investigations, measurements, and construction observation. Duty includes preparation of subsequent reports and exhibits.
Assistance with compiling construction plans from all disciplines and submittal to agencies having jurisdiction.
Requirements:
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. REVIT, Sketchup and Adobe Suite experience is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience in Commercial, Retail, Restaurants, Grocery Stores, and Office Buildings is a plus.
Adaptable and receptive to instruction from others.
Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a team
Excellent oral, written and organizational skills.
Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.
