Position: Apparel Hanger
Pay Grade 4
Basic Function: To hang clothing processed from the laundry on appropriate hangers and sort clothing into different categories on z-racks.

Basic Function: To hang clothing processed from the laundry on appropriate hangers and sort clothing into different categories on z-racks.
General Responsibilities:
- Hang garments on appropriate hanger and sort by categories on z-racks.
- Make the decision whether the item goes to pricing or recycle.
- Maintain knowledge of load numbers with load tags and attach to the first hanger the garment is on at the front of the z-rack.
- Measure or determine size of garments not specified on the garment label/tag.
- Size garments with appropriate sizing sticker.
- Keep an accurate count of the garments hung daily and racks produced and record on daily paperwork.
- Must be able to maintain specified production numbers of garments hung daily (current goal – 700 garments per day, 93 garments per hour).
- Organize and keep station clean.
- Assist in sorting racks as needed (current goal – 45 racks per day, 6 racks per hour).
- Assist in spot cleaning as needed.
- Assist in processing cargo product as needed.
- Assist in wash area as needed.
- Must be able to identify and maintain current load numbers on all products.
- Maintain current knowledge of the different styles of clothing as well as latest trends.
- Must be able to differentiate between various products.
- Cross train within all operational departments.
- All other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications Requirements:
- High School diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Light to moderate lifting is required
- Repetitive motion is required
- Development Requirements:
- Must be willing to learn various brands of clothing and fabric care
- Must be willing to learn and differentiate between various products
Schedule Hours:
- 40+ hours per week, 6:00 am – 2:30pm Mon. – Fri. Flexibility in scheduling is required.
- Saturdays overtime may be required as necessary.
- Will be required to sign up for and potentially work one Holiday on the retail floor as needed
- Mandatory work days are the Friday before Memorial Day, the day before Fourth of July, the Friday before Labor Day, the Friday before Ski Sale and the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to Production Manager
