Columbia County Humane Society Job Opening.
Immediate animal caregiver opening! Part-time. CCHS is looking for an animal caregiver to fill our animal care needs.

Do you enjoy working with animals and people? Becoming an Animal Caregiver might be a rewarding job for you! We are looking for someone to work 16 hours per week helping animals and people. Saturday 8:30-3:30pm and one weekday (TBD). This position may have some on-call duties for stray pick-ups as needed. Lifting 50lbs or more may be required.

Starting wage is $14.00/hr. Non-exempt. This position requires an individual who is flexible with their schedule. Weekdays, weekend and holiday work required. Retirement plan available after 1 year of employment. Aflac Benefits.
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s license required with a clean driving record and must be insurable through our automobile insurance.
This is a fast-paced environment so being able to multitask in a professional environment is a must.

Responsibilities/Qualifications may include but not limited to:
*Cat cage cleaning
* Dog kennel cleaning
*Small animal care
*Mopping/floor cleaning
*Stray animal pick-up duties and intakes. On-call days/nights may be scheduled
*Taking animals to veterinary appointments or picking up.
*Working with and exposure to disinfecting solutions while cleaning
* Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
