The Alumni Engagement Officer is a full-time position. Responsibilities include:

• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs and projects to promote interest among our alumni community.
• Manage the Gull Ambassador Program, a newly launched initiative to recruit alumni to serve as message amplifiers and spirit builders among their Endicott networks.
• Serve as the primary project manager for Endicott’s annual Reunion Weekend. This is an inter-departmental and cross-campus collaboration with the goal of inspiring alumni to return to Endicott to celebrate their milestone reunions.
• Utilize the alumni team’s social media channels to strengthen and inspire engagement among Endicott’s alumni community.
  • Collaborate with the Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement team in devising a social media strategy that is in line with the team’s goals and the Institutional Advancement team’s overall strategic priorities.
  • Design, draft, implement, manage, update, and evaluate the social media content on Endicott Alumni’s Instagram and Facebook accounts.
  • Analyze the potential growth for expanding the Alumni Engagement team’s presence on social media, and identify opportunities to diversify content.
• Manage the timeline, content creation, and production of Endicott’s monthly alumni digital newsletter, Tidings.
• Act as the Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement team’s liaison for the College’s annual Homecoming & Family Weekend.
• Provide support in the planning and preparations for Endicott’s annual Giving Day campaign.
• Oversee the management of undergraduate student philanthropy and related events/programming, including the Senior Class Gift Program and events for the graduating class, such as Countdown to Commencement and the Luminaries Ceremony.
• Update alumni contact/employment information and assist with the collection of Class Notes for Soundings, Endicott’s biannual alumni magazine.
• May supervise and train student workers, volunteers, and/or interns, as appropriate.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Experience working with alumni and student organizations is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, database and project management software, and CRM systems.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of SEO best practices.
• Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills are critical with a comfort in public speaking.
• Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Alumni-driven disposition and strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Must be able to handle sensitive material confidentially.
• Evening and weekend work are required inclusive of annual events and attending on-campus alumni and student club events and activities throughout the year.
• Possesses flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines.
