Job Duties

The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicle’s Office of Financial Management and Administrative Services is seeking an Agency Management Analyst. As the Agency Management Analyst, you will carry-out duties as the DMV agency surplus property coordinator. You will be responsible for maintaining the inventory balance for all items stocked in the DMV main warehouse using the Oracle inventory system. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating replenishment orders that result in optimal efficiency of resources and best service to our customers.
Other Duties Include
  • Providing professional and advisory support to management and work areas within ASA in achieving efficient and effective automated and operational programs as they relate to ASA work areas.
  • Continually evaluate ASA’s mission and performance measurements in each work area
  • Making recommendations for changes and updates as required
  • Compiling performance data, conducts planning and analysis for the Administrative Services Administration
  • Providing premier services to all statewide DMV Customer Service Centers, DMV Select Offices, Motor Carrier Service Centers, DMV Call Centers, any other DMV entity, and the public with regard to producing, procuring, requisitioning, and otherwise providing required products and other supply support in a cost-efficient way
  • Working closely with all personnel assigned throughout the Administrative Services Administration to meet the agency’s needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with research, cost analysis, evaluation, and project management techniques
  • Experience using computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Experience with procurement procedures
  • Experience with inventory management
  • Knowledge and experience with inventory and procurement software applications (e.g. MySelect, Oracle, EOS, eVA, or equivalent)
  • Experience communicating professionally with internal and external customers, vendors, and government agencies while adhering to standard business practices
  • Experience using a purchase card for a business
  • Knowledge and experience with the rules and regulations of the mailing industry
  • Knowledge in surplus procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent field of study
  • VCA Certification
  • Experience conducting statistical research, studies, and needs assessments
  • Experience developing strategic plans to meet business needs relating to policy, finance, or services
