Job Description
- Supervise afterschool students ages 5-12 in the classroom and ensure a calm, peaceful environment
- Assist with homework, computer lab, snack time, recreation time, and pick ups
- Develop strong relationships with all students, staff, and parents
- Ensure group transitions happen safely and effectively
- Maintain clean and organized classrooms
Qualifications
- Completed 45 DCF hours (can be completed within the first year of employment)
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Experience working with children
- Ability to work effectively with parents, co-workers, and diverse communities
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
