Advertising Sales Rep Job at North Gwinnett Voice
The North Gwinnett Voice, a news publication serving the Buford, Sugar Hill and Suwanee areas of Gwinnett County, is seeking an advertising sales rep to sell advertising space to existing and new clients for online, print and sponsorship opportunities.
This individual will work lead lists, cold call and identify new advertisers; collaborate with advertisers on materials for the creation of ad designs; facilitate ongoing communication with advertising clients; and attend networking meetings as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- A proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- An ability to communicate, present and influence
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- The ability to build and cultivate relationships, as well as secure new business through face-to-face, e-mail and phone interactions
- Experience with sales planning, sales strategy development and reporting skills
Candidates must be self-motivated and goal driven and demonstrate an ability to work alone and as part of a team.
This position is part-time with commission pay.
