Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the development of data-driven insights that inform business decisions and drive impact. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, growth marketing, content strategy and experimentation, to identify opportunities, design and measure experiments, conduct analyses, and develop recommendations that improve business performance.

The ideal candidate has elite experience with stakeholder management, can tell a story through data and get their point across without too much technical jargon. They enjoy working with complex (read: sometimes messy) data sets and are passionate about uncovering the juicy nugget of data that can help guide company strategy and really move the needle. They think broadly about the entirety of the business while executing on multiple objectives laddering up to our North Star goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business partners to define and prioritize business problems, develop hypotheses, and design experiments to test them.
  • Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to uncover insights that inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Conducting complex analyses using Google Analytics, SQL, LookerStudio, Excel, and other tools to extract insights from large datasets and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and translate those needs into actionable insights.
  • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert for business analytics, continuously exploring new data sources and technologies to improve our capabilities.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior analysts to build their analytical skills and support their professional growth.
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives and C-level leaders.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics, data analytics or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL, BigQuery, Excel and Google Analytics. (GA4 experience a plus)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, LookerStudio, Qlik, etc.).
  • Experience in statistical modeling and A/B testing.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in the subscriptions and ad revenue space is a plus.
  • Highly driven self-starter, motivated, and detail oriented

The Senior Data Analyst, is a position on the Advanced Analytics team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics and works closely with Product, Marketing and Testing teams

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $59,400 and $140,300 . Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
