Here at Bremerton Health & Rehabilitation Center, we currently have an opening for a FT Admissions Director. This position is the primary liaison for referrals, tours and admissions to the center. This person will also be in charge of Marketing to nearby referral sources, such as Hospitals. The Admissions Director is responsible for Room Prep for incoming Admissions and completing the Admissions Packets. We offer a COMPETITVE WAGE AND BENEFITS package DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for taking referral information via phone, fax or digital referrals and through a pre-admission screening process, determining whether or not they are an appropriate fit for the center
  • Performs payer source verification, including obtaining Prior Authorizations from insurance companies
  • Works alongside DNS and RDCO to determine clinical appropriateness when coming across complex referral cases
  • Coordinates all room readiness for incoming admissions, including provision of specific equipment, cleanliness or room, ensuring room is on the door and that transportation is arranged for pick up of the admission
  • Ensures completion of all Admissions paperwork and collection of any initial private pay amounts due
  • Minor Marketing and Sales representation at Networking functions
  • Any other duties as set by Executive Director
  • Participates in Center's Caring Partners Program
  • As a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, the Admissions Director will participate in assigned "Manager on Duty" functions

Qualifications:

  • Sales or Marketing degree in Healthcare setting PREFERRED
  • Must have strong Customer Service representation
  • Passionate and Outgoing personalityTeam Player

  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Attention to detail
  • Pro-active
  • Previous experience in a sales or marketing position preferred, specifically in a healthcare setting
