Administrative Medical Assistant - Front Office/Reception

Chisholm Trail Pediatrics has provided high quality primary pediatric care to the local community since 1993. Our practice started in Georgetown and expanded to two locations in 2014. All employees at Chisholm Trail Pediatrics are carefully chosen to provide the friendly and compassionate care our practice was founded on.

Our company is seeking a new employee! We are searching for the perfect candidate who has experience with working in a busy front office setting. A successful candidate has the ability to multitask friendliness and productivity, that is, maintain a genuine kindness under pressure. This candidate will be professional, kind and courteous to parents, pediatric patients and coworkers. As the first impression many of our families will have with the practice, a warm and welcoming personality is of utmost importance. Our company prides itself on good customer service, compassion and efficiency. Any job candidate should have awesome customer service skills and a love for working with children and lots of compassion for their parents and caregivers.

Duties:

  • Patient Check In & Check Out
  • Phones – scheduling, listening & talking to parents, taking messages
  • Scanning/Uploading documents
  • eFax incoming document sorting
  • Insurance verification
  • Chart prep for upcoming visits
  • Collecting copays and balances
  • Data entry

Skills:

  • Multiline Phone System
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, EHR/EMR systems, eClinicalworks preferred
  • Professional Phone Etiquette
  • Basic Knowledge of Insurance plans
  • Ability to collect payment in a kind and professional manner
  • Exemplary Customer Service – Great Attitudes Only!
  • Team Player Mindset

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years medical front and/or back office experience
  • Skills Assessment REQUIRED for consideration of your application
  • Scheduling Experience
  • Knowledge of Insurance Plans
  • Ability to operate multiline phone system
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, EMR/EHR systems, eCW preferred
  • Availablilty to work one Saturday per month 8:30am-2:00pm - Urgent Care front desk

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
