PathPoint, a leader in supporting people with disabilities and mental health diagnoses in living the life they choose, is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Simi Valley, CA.

In this role, you'll use your organizational and interpersonal skills to help ensure smooth office operations by taking on a variety of administrative support projects. We're looking for a resourceful individual with a "no task is too big or too small" mentality and a desire to use their skills to make a difference every day. This is a part-time position for 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday 10:00am-2:00pm.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage administrative and clerical duties around the office.
  • Maintain various databases and e-filing systems.
  • Assist with monthly safety drills and safety coordination. Oversee vehicle fleet.
  • Provide support with various Human Resources projects, including screening applicants, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks.
  • Assist with different accounting functions such as invoices, bank deposits, processing rent checks and reconciliations.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional verbal and written communication.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience is preferred.
  • Must pass pre-employment Live Scan DOJ fingerprint background check, TB test and basic health screening.
  • Must have a valid driver license and satisfactory driving record for completing errands.
  • Culturally sensitive and aware of differences in employees based on cultural backgrounds; aware of one's own culture and how someone's background may lead to biases; has the skills and resources needed to work with employees from all different cultures and the ability to avoid making biased assumptions based on someone's culture.

Compensation: This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $18.00 per hour the pay range is $15.50-$22.61 an hour. The pay range is subject to change based on a variety of factors, and the maximum pay represents the wage potential based on attaining the highest level of position experience, talent, and responsibilities.
