Addictions Assessor/Intake - PT Weekend Job at The Consortium Inc.

Assessors (PT) During the twelve-month contract, the selected candidate for this position will assess appropriate needs, determine priorities for service and level of care, collect documents, initial demographic and clinical information from individuals in collaboration with the CCCF Administration. Will elicit information from individuals to determine what service should be provided to the individual. Ensures all data collected is correct and accurate on all forms in compliance with regulatory bodies as necessary. Will assign individuals to a group and their counselor. Will obtain signatures on required release forms and obtain information from outside source, schedule appointments, appropriate follow-up appointments and/or suggest and referrals to alternative services when required.
Qualifications: Master’s degree preferred in Social Work, Education, Human Services, Counseling Psychology, from an accredited college or university. Two years of direct care experience in mental health or addictions. Intake background is highly preferred. Must be familiar with ICD-10 and DSM-5 categories. Must be PCPC/ASAM certified. Great organizational skills are needed, be able to type 40-50 wpm; proofreading ability and strong attention to detail and commitment to quality are a must. The selected candidate must be able to work within a correctional facility. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills are necessary and must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and over-all computer skills). Completion of the Investigation Application for the Camden County Department of Corrections is required.
All candidates must have a certificate of completion in the Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse - Mandated and Permissive Reporting in Pennsylvania” on-line training requirements, complete the Investigation Application for the Camden County Department of Corrections, successfully complete and pass all background checks and The selected candidate must be able to work within a correctional facility.

Pay: $28.72 - $31.79 per hour
