We are currently seeking a full time Junior Accountant.

Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Accounting department in accounts receivable, accounts payable and month-end closing functions. They will be responsible for gathering and processing information to generate accurate performance reports, including sales, costing and other key indicators. They also will assist in budgeting, the yearly audit and physical inventory.

Essential Functions:

· Complete daily bank reconciliations and deposits

· Preparing various weekly, monthly and yearly reporting for upper management.

· Assist in all month-end closing functions in reconciling AR Accounts.

· Monitor all current and new cash customer accounts, including but not limited to:

o Track cash customer balances and payments within the Company’s ERP/CRM system.

o Create and distribute daily/weekly reports to the Sales & Management team showing current outstanding customer payments.

o Follow up with customers to fulfill outstanding payments; elevate the outstanding customer balance to the A/R Credit Analyst as needed.

· Reconcile the credit card and on-site cash deposit process from each location.

· Respond to incoming customer questions/concerns and cut checks for customer refunds.

· Assist in creating customer bills/invoices and following up on outstanding payments as needed.

· Complete government surveys/questionnaires, as needed.

· Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or Equivalence required

· Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

· Minimum of 2+ years of Accounting experience required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Detailed oriented and high levels of organization.

· Proficient in Microsoft products, especially Excel.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· High level of confidentiality and discretion.

· Ability to meet deadlines and determine priorities.

· Collaboration/Team Player

· Financial and Analytical Skills

· Knowledge in Global Shop Solutions.
