Rapidly growing Facility Maintenance Company seeking a Full-Time Accounts Payable Specialist at our Lake Mary corporate office Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. To be successful as an Accounts Payable Specialist, candidates should be professional, polite, and have great attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related Accounts Payable and/or administrative experience
• Working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
• Must be able to pass a National background check and a drug test
• Reliable transportation
• Strong computer skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to learn other accounting software systems
• Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, self-reliant, and proactive
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable using accounting software
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records
• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Maintain vendor records, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies
• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions
• Other related duties as assigned
