OVERVIEW

As an Accounts Payable Processor, you’ll be responsible for timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payment disbursements. You’ll also provide assistance to other team members in the office on vendor account issues.

JOB DUTIES

• Input a high volume of invoices into multiple computer accounting systems.
• Assist Divisional Accountants, Community Managers/RV Resort Managers, and Regional Vice Presidents with vendor inquiries as needed.
• Communicate with vendors regarding duplicate paymnets, eneter duplicate information into Excel and follow up with all duplicate requests and track them in Excel.
• Contact past residents and vendors regarding checks returned in the mail. Ensure records are upddated and mail checks to updated adressess.
• Contact vendors that are sending invoices in the mail to our Main Office and inform them of proper invoice procedure.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Business or Accounting, preferred
• Minimum of 2 years high-volume A/P processing experience
• Accurate and high-speed data entry skills
• Knowledge of Unclaimed Property/Escheatment Process, preferred
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks by specific deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain a helpful and cooperative attitude
• Intermediate computer proficiency with the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet
