This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $17.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Environmental Quality. This position is located at 217 W Jones St., Raleigh, NC 27603.

This position will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for the Division of Air Quality. The selected candidate will be responsible for auditing and processing both matching and direct invoices, processing travel authorizations and reimbursements and reconciling Procurement Card Transactions. The selected candidate will also be responsible for generating and mailing monthly annual fee invoices, preparing the daily deposit for the Divisions, and recording invoice payments within the DAQ IBEAM system.

  • Basic knowledge of spelling, punctuation and vocabulary.

  • Ability to use a variety of standard office equipment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school or General Educational Development (GED) Diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
