Your Position
- Behavior Technicians will support individuals with autism in the home, in the community, or in one of our new centers.
- Teach daily living skills and social skills, using effective behavior evidence-based treatments
- Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions
- Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
- Implement training and therapy sessions designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.
Your Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have open weekday and weekend availability in the afternoons
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must attend our training program at Braintree, MA and be eligible to pass the RBT Exam
- Reliable form of transportation (Own vehicle)
- Adhere to Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) code of Ethics. http://bacb.com/ethics/.
- Attend trainings and maintain effective knowledge of identified qualifications/competencies.
- Assimilating and carrying out direction from supervising behavior analyst for therapy and data collection.
- Providing effective behavior evidence-based treatments.
- Collecting unbiased and accurate data during therapy sessions.
- Proactively communicating with supervising behavior analyst for questions and feedback.
- Maintaining reliable transportation, a driver’s license, and car insurance.
- Ability to work in a team and to share responsibilities and duties.

Technology

HIPAA
Team members are required to adhere to policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information. Team members are permitted to use and/or disclose only minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Reports all suspected violation of company’s HIPAA policies or procedures to Human Resources.
Environmental Stewardship and Safety
- Team members are expected to adhere to facility safety requirements, report unsafe practices or equipment, and, if applicable, use the appropriate protective equipment as needed.
- Depending on role, and during the daily course of duties, team members may have to lift, twist, pull or push. Team members must be able to manage these activities up to 60 lbs.
- Any accident or incident must be reported immediately to a member of management for proper recording.
