Under the direction of the Web Press Manager, the 2nd Pressman – Level 2 is responsible for the inspection process of print production along with understanding all reports of press run.

• 
  Set ink keys.
• Make ready Units only: setting side lay, move clamps, setting webs, setting ink.
• Inspection of printed material after registration.
• Inspection of pagination compared to laser proof.
• Maintain quality of the document being printed by monitoring registration, all marks, folds, ink density and water balance throughout the press run.
• Knowledge of paper roll reports.
• Knowledge of paper waste reports.
• Setting and changing rollers.

• 
  Minimum 2 years equivalent work experience
• Strong organizational, and time management skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with printing material inspections and reports
• Ability to configure ink setting variation
• High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines
• Ability to quickly identify production problems and ability to identify quality problems
• Energetic, dependable and a reliable team player
• Ability to follow directions, safety standards and be on-call for emergency situations
• Willing to work overtime as required, occasionally on short notice
• Ability to tolerate being exposed to loud noises and moving machinery
