Youth Impact Technicians needed!

Morrison Center is seeking Youth Impact Technicians who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Programs work with children from age 3 to 21. As a Youth Impact Technician, you will be working within our Special Purpose Private Schools and Children’s Residential Programs.

The Youth Impact Technician will be expected to work 48 hours per week; with four 12-hour shifts per week. Shifts will start at our Children's Residential Program in New Gloucester, providing transportation to our School in Scarborough where you will work the school day, and then return to New Gloucester for the afternoon early evening. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Supporting students’ individual school programing during school hours
  • Providing a safe, structured, and stimulating environment for children in residential programming
  • Recording and maintaining progress notes and documentation
  • Providing personal care, including activities of daily living skills and individual feeding and toileting programs.
  • Help maintain and organize both program environments

Requirements:

  • 60 College credits
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay: $57, 000/ annually with opportunity to work paid overtime
