Leo A. Hoffmann Center is a nonprofit organization currently licensed by the Department of Human Services as a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF).

Hoffmann Center is seeking full-time and part-time Youth Counselors. This position provides quality client care and close intensive supervision of male adolescent clients in a residential treatment setting. Treatment is delivered as a ratio of 1 staff to 3 client. Hoffmann Center revolves the program around a client-centered and family based approach by creating a homelike atmosphere with a positive community. Work somewhere you can make a difference!

Responsibilities

• Provide a nurturing environment to all clients.

• Provide visual and auditory supervision to clients.

• Use behavior management techniques appropriately with clients.

• Maintain client files according to established guidelines.

• Medication Administration.

• Complete all client reports, care plans and records in a timely manner in accordance with program procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, human services or related field preferred.

• Able to stay calm and emotionally available in an environment serving youth.
