Yard Supervisor

The Northridge yard is currently looking for a great addition to the management team, we are looking for a great candidate to become our next Yard Supervisor, this is a Monday thru Friday position and occasional Saturday work, great yard to work at and great team to join. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Organize daily work and supervise crew
• Schedule and input outgoing paperwork as well as incoming, including shipping and receiving using Ganahl Lumber Accuterm system
• Work closely with manager and other supervisor to set up and achieve goals for the yard.
• Willingness to help solve difficult situations and to help develop future leaders.
• Must have a strong drive to grow into the management team

Applicants must posses:

• Great hospitality skills
• Great leadership skills, be very dependable and proactive, team player is a must.
• Great organizing skills, work well under pressure, good understanding of loading and unloading trucks and unloading rail cars.
• Great following directions, able to work with minimum supervision.
