• Operate heavy equipment to complete a variety of job tasks to assist with electrical projects
• Conduct daily equipment inspections, complete pre-op reports on equipment before use
• Report any repair issues or equipment hazards immediately
• Secure special attachments to equipment
• Assist with general labor duties when needed, in order to complete projects
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Complete daily paperwork detailing job hours and job hazards
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Safe work record
• Some computer skills (excel) required, warehouse skills would be an asset
• Physically fit with strong stamina
• Safely and effectively operate surface equipment (must be licenced)
• Ability to follow safe working procedures
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written). Speak, read, and write English
• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
• Thorough knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations as they pertain to the workplace
• Other duties, as required
• Local to the MIne area
