Job Description:

Workday Integration Developer

Duration: Direct hire, full time

Location: Remote*

• Candidates must live in one of the following states: VA, FL, GA, IN, NV, SC, SD, TN, TX, WA, WV, WI

Apex Systems is working with a healthcare client to find a Workday Integration Developer to support ongoing developments and enhancements in a fully functional Workday implementation. Candidates should be strong hands-on technical developers in either HCM, Finance, SCM, or any combination.

The client is looking for someone to start ASAP.

Job Summary:

• Maintain Workday integrations including break/fix, enhancements, testing, and updating requirements and documentation for integrations
• Maintain system integrations and work with downstream vendors for testing and deployment
• Perform tier 2/3 routine break/fix support and regression testing and support the inbound/outbound integrations to the Workday system
• Integration scheduling and monitoring
• Provide solid knowledge of Workday’s object-oriented data model and approaches to integrations (Connector, EIB, and Studio)
• Provide integration and related workflow solutions within the guidelines of the integration team’s custom request procedures
• Create and maintain related calculated fields for integrations; communicate calculated fields needs across areas to avoid redundancy and achieve efficiency
• Liaison with technical solution architect for approach reviews and approvals
• Work across various platforms that integrate with Workday
• Understand and follow data governance
• Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices
• Understand and follow security and data privacy standards
• Perform regression testing on integrations during Workday releases
• Log / maintain tickets in ticket tracking system

• Knowledge of web services, SOAP, WDSL, XML, XSLT or XPATH.
• Knowledge of OOP concepts
• Functional knowledge (where possible)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 5 years in Workday technical development is required
