Our wood department understands how to plan the work day around order deadlines and execute efficiently. The wood department is responsible for outputting exceptional products and maintaining an organized and clean area. Our wood department takes pride in manufacturing quality wood products for our production team to assemble awards for our customers.
Daily and Weekly Responsibilities
- Assist in Wood/Plastic Products department - This includes Loading Routers/Saws to Route, Cut and laminate MDF wood in High Volume
- Read job orders to know details like the number of materials to be Cut and Laminated, time given to complete order, and what material is to be cut
- Communicate with the rest of the Production Team to ensure that material is provided for orders
- Check printed materials for clarity, accuracy, quality, finishing and other production factors
- Maximize Production by troubleshooting stoppages and breakdowns
- Operate various machines to give printing directions in accordance to job orders
- Ensure machines and work area are clean
- Package orders on Completion
- Keep track of and Log all work done in our database
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC router (preferred)
- General Manufacturing experience
- Ability to lift heavy sheets of wood
- Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
- Woodworking: 1 year (Preferred)
