Job Description :
- As part of the 5G initiative, you will play a key role in shaping the future wireless products. - You will join a small, flexible and highly expert team working in close collaboration with internal and external partners to define and prototype future wireless technologies. - Seeking a deep technical expert with a profound background and interest in wireless communications theory, air interface design, and proof-of-concept realization. Your responsibilities will include:- Working with state-of-the-art expert communications system engineers and researchers to create and develop core concepts for contemporary 5G wireless device and network solutions - Leading the execution of field trials and system performance analysis to validate system performance - Optimizing the systems operation and air interface performance of trials platforms executing key 5G experimental deployments - Assessing, and acting upon, the results of 5G field trials - Executing targeted engineering and design studies of critical or novel 5G trial subsystems - Providing technical leadership to analysis and or design teams assembled to realize specific proof-of-concept evaluations - Capturing and communicating clearly to internal and external partners the performance of 5G trials systems - Communicating clearly action plans and proposed technical direction to project core teams, senior management and partners - Engaging directly with senior staff to influence technical strategy and direction in 5G - Managing 5G technical deliverables and relations with other teams and partners, and external partners - Preparing presentations on advanced communications systems for presentation with senior management, partners and external forums
Qualification :
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of industry experience preferred - Very strong communication and interpersonal skills - Graduate work exhibiting deep specialization in communications systems - Demonstrated ability to think strategically - Passion to operate across a diverse and varying set of technical topics - to be both technically broad and deep- Intimate knowledge of 5G or LTE wireless systems - 15+ years of experience in physical layer design for wireless systems - 15+ years of experience simulating, modelling and analyzing contemporary wireless systems - Deep technical understanding of modulation, coding and multi-antenna signal processing subsystems - Demonstrated track record of success in a dynamic work environment
